Regarding the title of my last post, I did not intend to imply that I've taken a vow of silence or anything. I simply haven't felt like I've had much to say worth posting to LJ. I may have been a tad hermit-ed up during my stay here in L.A., despite the occasional fun&frolicking, but mostly it's been balancing my time between academic work and ( Read more... )

Doh--I already agreed to have dinner with my family. We could try to fit in some hang-out time between dinner and packing?

Yay yummy food. One of the things I remember best of my visit to LA with ewysiwyg is how varied and wonderful the food was, even on our shoestring budget. Glad you're getting to appreciate and enjoy!

Yeah, the food here always rocks, although it's difficult to balance the urge to eat in with my family, as my mom's a great cook, and the desire to dine out (and then it comes down to tried-and-true yumminess or exploring new things). But I'm not complaining... :)

Don't forget the yummy pastries on Sherman Way! What was the name of that bakery?

Oh damn, I forgot to include it! Pastries by Edie, on Sherman Way near Canoga (which I think is technically in Canoga Park).
