*I have discovered just now that LiveJournal hates me. Or something. Or my Internet connection hates me, it's hard to tell which sometimes. I am partially HTML-illiterate, so rich text format can be my friend at times, like for instance when I'm trying to do an LJ username tag. For some reason when my computer does let me use scripted windows, it

Me and my computer have a love hate relationship. Love it when it allows me to watch episodes of ‘Lost’ over the internet -‘cus stupid sky brought it off channel four, so I can’t watch it anymore. Hate it when it shuts down for no reason when I’m halfway through an essay.
Ah yes time-zones. How boring would life be without them. I was chatting to my cousin on msn the other day at 8pm, and she told me that she was just getting ready to go to school (she lives in Australia you see). But really it honestly doesn’t bother me anymore. I used to travel so much, and I have so many friends living at all corners of the globe, that I just shrug it off now, to the point where I naturally calculate about what time it is for you as I’m writing this (mid afternoon?).
Is dashboard confessional lame? I dunno, he’s not really well known over here. I only know ‘vindicated’ and that’s only ‘cus it’s on the end of Spiderman. Anyway I wouldn’t worry too much, almost everything that I like is lame. Join the dorks!

Dashboard isn't really lame, they're just... I don't know. People tend to laugh at them because all of Christopher Carabba's songs are about some girl who a.)left him or b.) he's just plain in love with. As my friend Alex said (and did while we were in Washington, DC), Dashboard is great to listen to after a break-up or when you're feeling particularly relationship-challenged. But generally it's not cool to listen to Dashboard around music snobs. Then again I am not a music snob or friends with any, so I'm off the hook.
