I hope this series is going to hold up to all the handling it is bound to receive. Oversized, sporting a reinforced paperback cover featuring a sea turtle that appears poised to swim out of the book, the book promises bold, brilliant photographs and plenty of facts and figures about life under the world’s oceans and seas.
A double-page spread provides a quick overview of how the book is organized (in five themes), how the pages work and the password to the digital companion book. There are several types of spreads, stats, history and photographic. ”More Here” bars contain suggested reading, keyword suggestions for web searches, do’s & don’ts, websites, places to visit and a mini-glossary, in addition to a two-page glossary at the back of the book.
The free digital companion book is about sharks. It contains brilliant photographs and plenty of report-worthy facts.
