It's a snowy day and two bright red birds that are not cardinals explore their environs and notice that though they can find two of many things, no two are exactly alike - snowflakes, fences, branches, animals, even themselves. Everything is cheery about this book, including the wintery landscape. The text rhymes, the digitally rendered illustrations exude energy. I wish I had a bunch of littlies to read this one aloud with.
