Joslire woke to the little hands pushing on him, and knew the face poking was coming soon, so he reached up and tickled her to distract here.

"Daddy's here Laila," he chuckled.

She giggled when he tickled her, and she fell against him, still sleepy enough to want to snuggle close.

Watching, Laura smiled softly. "Happy Father's Day, Joslire."

Sliding back into bed, Laura brought an arm around both of them. "There's breakfast," she said quietly, even as Laila laid contently against her daddy, apparently content to not move as she sucked on her thumb.
