Letter to Lily.

Lily:

I’m going to be late getting home tonight. Sirius got some new furniture and Remus and I were helping him arrange it, then he tripped over one of the old tables and we were afraid he’d broken something. He didn’t, but now he’s being ornery he wants us to stay until he’s sure he can manage on his own

She looks over the letter and shakes her head, sighing. Of course, this would happen the one night that she actually wanted him home to tell him something.

James:
Tell him to hurry up about it.

I've been trying, but it's not exactly easy to tell Sirius Black to hurry up about anything if he doesn't want to. If he goes on like this much longer, I'll just say to hell with it and smack him upside the head. It's worked before.
