How do you make an account "friends only"? Is there a setting or is it just a matter of makes all your posts so that only friends can read them? People have apparently 'randomly' found my journal posts and have made my mom think I'm nuts and I need more god in my life.

Oh damn I totally wrote a little run through on how to make your whole journal friends only but I forgot to save it and I can't think straight enough to attempt to write it out again at the moment. So this comment is mostly pointless. However, i know i found my way to doing that by going to the FAQ section of lj.

Go to manage friends
go friends tools and click the link that says friends and security levels
go down to where it says how do I control who reads my entries
go to the section that says how do I make all my journal entries friends only. click read more.
read the part about minimum security. It'll have a link for viewing options. GO there and you can set all your entries to friends only.

From what I've found you either do it when you set the journal up by setting an age limit for the content, or you have to set each post to Friends Only.
