Hi! I don't have a lot of detail like these other fabulous event requests but I would like to put forward one of my own.

It's the children event. Basically for two weeks the children of certain characters (or character pairings if there are some in game) start showing up. Family antics, mommy and daddy mannerisms will ensue.

Of course it would be up to the players to NPC their own children in logs and network posts but I've done it on another game and it is a lot of fun.

I would like to do an event in which Sakura's Change Card somehow breaks lose and frantically rampages through Promenade in a state of panic. What does the Change Card do? It switches minds. If two minds are switched for over 24h, then the change is permanent. Seeing how time is wonky in promenade, possibly The Change could affect the City for a longer period of time (during which Sakura will freak out since 24 H to her is 24 H.) Perhaps 2 - 5 days?

:3 I would love to host this event - I suppose the only issue, beyond Mod approval, is finding some cause that would result in The Change being freed. It would take very powerful magic. Perhaps I could ask muns if they had any characters that would have the motive & ability to do such a thing? (Or if that doesn't work, maybe NPC involvement? ;;)

That sounds great! Would November 11-13 work as dates for you?

43 Things Loki Shouldn't Have Done forbastards September 24 2011, 21:11:34 UTC
Thank you all so much for going over the plot-specific questions I had about Loki. Now that the monsters have all scuttled back to wherever they came from, Loki is going to start actively working on understanding how Il Prom works -- to that end, he's going to try to dream into existence the following list of items and I was wondering which ones would work, which wouldn't, and what possibly consequences he'll end up experiencing for being a cosmic jerk ( ... )

Additional info! takhys September 24 2011, 21:23:37 UTC
Since some of these things might not be immediately recognizable, here's some more info on the obscure items:

21 & 22: Yggdrasil is a giant tree that supports the realms.

23: Mjolnir is Thor's hammer.

26: The Destroyer is a big fancy robot-golem.

27: Gungnir is Odin's spear.

28: The Golden Apples of Idunn are a sort of magical fruit that brings immortality.

30: The Sampo is a magical mill that could grind out a variety of things.

31: Andvaranaut is a magical ring.

32: Gullinbursti is a living golden boar.

33: Suttungmjaðar is a magical sort of mead.

34: The Casket of Ancient Winters is a special box that gives frost giants their mojo.

37: Bifrost is the pathway between realms.

There are no consequences for dreaming any of these up or for attempting to dream them up ( ... )

Thank you for the prompt response!

He's...not entirely sure what he'll do with it all, but I am sure it will end well for everyone. (Or not.)

This is not so much anything concrete as of yet because I can't proceed with any planning until I get modly approval because it needs it ( ... )

I don't want to get too far into planning without a mod okay, but as of this thread, Soundwave is hoping to use circumstances, and growing fear to create a huge distraction. With the fear plot coming up as well, I would like to know if it would be in any way possible for him to break into the Unnatural.

I realize he'd probably be caught, and have something terrible happen to him as a result if it was even possible at all, but like I say; I'd rather know whether not it was even possible to do this before I got into making more involved plot.

Sorry about the late reply! While the Unnatural would have been under lockdown mode during the fear event, it is perfectly possible for Soundwave to attempt to break in himself, especially now that the Queen has ordered the guards to protect the palace more than the Unnatural.

As a note, due to the nature of the Unnatural, Soundwave would likely feel extremely weak, as if he's on the verge of shutting down, and his weapons systems would be disabled. His sentrybots would likewise be effected, though they would still be able to transmit data -- it would just be rather muddled data.

Hmm. Well, considering the original idea is moot now, would it be feasible to send little drones ( no bigger than marbles ) inside instead? I understand they would still be transmitting static, with snippets of data interwoven, but it seems more Soundwave's style to try and learn as much as he can about the place before trying to go in personally.

If the little drones are alright, should I get up with mod(s) on plurk to work out exactly what bits of data come through?

It would be possible, yes! Soundwave would be able to pick up bits and pieces of inside the Unnatural as follows:

• Soundwave might be able to pick up that there's a rigorous schedule behind the doors.

• No one mentions anything about the voice that changes the city.

• The scientists and guards pretty much keep everything quiet, unless they have something going on behind closed doors. The bots might pick up something, but it would be too scrambled to say what it is.

Also, Soundwave would be able to get this information, but Genero would eventually find one of these bots, and being the paranoid man that he is, seek out the others.

If you have any more questions or would like clarification on anything, feel free to ask!
