OH MY HEART OH MY HEART THIS IS ALL I EVER WANTED. ♥ This relationship was so frustrating onscreen, because it kept feeling like I believed in these two together and the show didn't, and this whole fic is basically just how I dream of s5 going with them. I really don't ship these too that hard. But at the same time, I didn't have a huge problem with them together like a lot of people did/do. I think you nailed this. I love that they can still tease each other but it isn't as awkward as the writers made it on the show. They would make a nice couple if Tom got real and Ann stopped being so uptight. But at the same time, I understand that the writers don't want to deal with three serious soul-mate level relationships at once. But after reading this, I could see that they could if they wanted to.

SHRIEKING BECAUSE YOUR ANN IS SO DAMN SPOT ON. She's like confused and a little teensy bit undirectioned and completely able to love Tom Haverford if she'd just let herself. God, I wish the show's writers would give them/them as a couple more credit because this sort of thing could happen.

THANK YOU. omg Ann was SO HARD to write; I agonized over this for weeks and weeks. I hope the writers get their shit together this season because my heart can't take much more of the two of them going back and forth for stupid reasons.

I'm so happy I'm not the only one who sees the incredible potential in Tom/Ann. Because I seriously think they're amazing, or they could be, and you captured the perfect essence of that here. They're so in character it's wonderful, because it's like watching them how they should be on the show (I found their break up so disappointing, more so than anything else really, because it was just fizzle.)

Amazing fic- you are definitely the Tom/Ann writer. Great job!

I really truly love Tom/Ann, and I wish the writers had been able to see what we're able to see. I was so disappointed with how they ended, too, but maybe somewhere down the road, we'll get to see them again, because they are so great.
