fic: Akanishi Jin & A Kitty-cat Complex for Grown-up Men

Jun 08, 2010 19:18

Meow.

Jin bit his lip in annoyance as he watched the back of his best friend, currently a cat in his lap. Bit his lip and eyed him grumpily for every petting the little feline received, all the stupid, stupid smooches, caresses and playful scratches.

The world sometimes sucked for Akanishi Jin. And now it did it in the form of a stupid pet mammal whose owner he didn’t even know.

Kame raised the cat further up in his arms and playfully smooched its neck a couple of times, purred in his ear and rubbed their noses together. The cat licked his lips and Kame yelped and broke into an adorably excited laughter.

Jin, in another hand, pursed his lips, tried to focus his eyes back on the TV and, most importantly, wished he was a cat.

He wanted to be a fucking feline. Like, right now. Fuck it.

“You’re distracting me,” he complained. “I’m trying to watch the show.”

Yeah. The show he was trying to brainwash Kame to like. He had been succeeding quite well and so this third occasion of them arranging a TV night had somehow happened. “Had been succeeding” being the key words. The cat was ruining it for him.

“Sorry,” Kame told him playfully and lied down, the cat on his chest. Jin followed it enviously from the corner of his eyes as he positioned himself comfortably. Kame’s fingers didn’t stop playing with him, caressing him and scratching behind his ear. Jin could hear the purring.

He couldn’t focus on the TV show. He was too busy worrying that a vein would pop in his head. Or something even more ridiculous, like the cat getting in Kame’s pants or something. Which wasn’t really something for him to worry about anyway. And it wasn’t like that would’ve ever happened. But god he couldn’t help getting all pissy about the mere idea.

Kame kissed the cat’s head again. And somehow his touches were very inviting. Kame wasn’t in any way stiff or anything with his fingers, they moved very lovingly somehow. As expected since he had dogs himself, but yeah, anyway. Fuck it.

And so Jin sulked. For no reason really, but he didn’t like this cat of Kame’s friend. And he hated the friend too. Who the fuck decided to go abroad for a couple of weeks and leave his cat to Kame? He already had two dogs and a career to take care of, for god’s sake! Irresponsible as hell!

“Can you just stop petting the cat already,” he groaned. “We were supposed to watch the show!”

“I am watching,” Kame rolled his eyes. “I can multitask. It feels comfortable to pet him. I do this with my dogs all the time, come on…”

No he didn’t. Not quite like that.

Maybe Kame was cat-sexual.

…Fuck it. Seriously, fuck it.

The cat stretched and positioned its paws on Kame’s neck, nails out. Softly somehow… hell, was the cat hurting Kame?! But no, not really. Kame did breathe heavily and arch his back though.

So much for not being cat-sexual. Jin whined.

He so wished to be a cat right now.

“Don’t get a hard-on for a cat. Please just don’t,” he complained loudly. “Or I’m going home with my DVDs. You’re being awful company. If you want to get it on with your friend’s cat, please don’t invite me, this is upsetting. I feel left out.”

“I’m not getting a hard-on,” Kame snapped at him. “Come on Jin, that’s just sick. It’s a natural reaction. Look,” he told him and grabbed his groin. “See, no hard-on.  Do you need to come and try to make sure?”

“No,” Jin answered a bit too fast with rosy cheeks and turned his eyes back to the TV. Damn it. “I think I’m fine. Just stop meddling with the cat.”

Kame sighed. But didn’t stop. But at least he didn’t appear to be reacting down there if that was something to be happy about. But he was still getting all cuddly, cute and adorable with the cat, whispering to him with a playful baby-voice.

Fuck. It. Bad. Really bad.

Life sometimes sucked for Akanishi Jin. It was just the way things went.

He threw the blanket he had on to the younger man and glared at him.

“At least cover yourself,” he complained. Kame sighed and groaned in frustration and put the blanket on to cover him from his stomach down.

“Is that better for you?” he asked sharply. “Sometimes I don’t get you.”

“Good,” Jin argued back, eyes glued on the TV. Not that he was able to focus very well. “Let’s just watch.”

And he kept following the little devil’s spawn that… got up and walked under the blanket..?

Kame shivered and his breath was caught in his throat. No, the little spawn didn’t..!

But oh, it did. Jin could see the blanket moving where Kame’s groin was. And the boy was reacting.

He shot up and walked over to where Kame’s feet were, lifted the blanket and crawled under it as well. Kame tried to kick him.

“Jin, what the fuck are you doing?!” he complained as Jin fit himself in the space between Kame’s now bent knees under the blanket and stared the cat straight into eyes challengingly.

It was time to play a cat if that was what it took to defend his territory.

He showed his teeth and silently hissed for the cat.

…Who just leaned forward to sniff at his nose, the cute little devil’s spawn. He licked the tip of his nose and withdrew a bit, paws somehow massaging Kame’s groan and cold nose sniffing his bare inner thighs. Jin could feel the couch moving from Kame’s reaction with his upper body. He heard that sigh.

Fuck, he hated that cat! He so hated him!

…And somehow he realised that Kame’s thighs were pretty close, touching him from some points. And that Kame was dressed only in briefs and a t-shirt. And he was pretty much half-naked. And everything. And that maybe he liked his other friend a bit too much. Or hadn’t gotten laid in a while. If a week counted as a while.

The cat kept sniffing Kame’s thigh and kept moving on his groin, coming down so that now it was half-lying on it and half-lying on the couch before Jin. And god, he hated the little thing.

And god he wanted to touch Kame. But he couldn’t do it directly could it? No matter what he did, it would never count as innocent as the cat, the stupid cat who always got his way without any questioning!

Oh yeah. The cat.

Jin moved his head next to it, his hair tickling Kame’s thigh, the back of his head pressing against it. Felt pretty good. He kissed the cat’s stupid fur.

“Jin, what are you doing?” Kame snapped at him with a thick voice. Jin could hear some English conversation from the TV.

“Making up with the cat,” he answered innocently. “Come on, if you can pet it then why can’t I?”

He glared at the cat. It looked back at him. Stupid, innocent orbs. Innocent, right. Rival more likely. And he knew he’d never make Kame treat him quite the way the stupid, stupid cat did. Jerk.

He placed his hands on the boy’s groin and kept making playful noises as he moved his head down, ending up pressing his lips against Kame’s boxers. Oh yes. That was more like it!

“Jin, out,” Kame kicked him with his knee. “I can’t see you. You’re under my blanket, near to a very private area. I’m going to react.”

Yeah, react. To him. Jin was proud.

…Or the cat. The cat was on the way.

Jin shoved it off and it hissed furiously as it fell down. But it didn’t matter, cats always landed on their feet, didn’t they?

Kame sat up. Jin crawled his way up from under the blanket between Kame’s legs.

“I feel less lonely now,” he noted innocently and pushed Kame back down, positioning himself comfortably over the younger man. Ohh, cat’s life. Kame shoved him.

“You’re being creepy,” he noted. “Come on, get off.”

“Nu-uh,” Jin declined and buried his face in Kame’s stomach. Too nice. “Warm here. Pet me.”

Kame was reacting to the pressure on his groin. He took the remote, paused the show and wriggled himself away from Jin’s hold, face red, and straightened his shirt to cover the bulge in his briefs. The best he could, of course.

“I need a cold bath,” he groaned. “Thanks Jin for making this awkward. Thanks a bunch.”

And Jin wanted to say it. The little ‘I like you’ chiming in the back of his head.

He couldn’t and Kame left him while shaking his head. He pressed his face in the fabric of the couch and the cat jumped on top of him. Jin groaned miserably.

“Oh come on, go away already,” he whimpered. “You stupid little thing.”

What about his waking reaction. What about that. Stupid, self-centred Kame.

Jin rose on his feet and trolled his way after the other boy, knocking the bathroom door, hearing the water running. It stopped and a tired Kame came to open the door.

“It’ll just take a while, I’ll be back in a minute,” he assured him. “I’m not mad, just go back and relax, okay? Play with the cat or the dogs. Fifteen minutes.”

“Can I join?” Jin asked. “I… I…”

Kame let his eyes travel down to the bulge in Jin’s boxers. Jin fidgeted uncomfortably.

“…Okay,” he agreed and opened the door better, letting Jin slip in. “This is so awkward. But we’re best friends, so yeah, whatever, it’s not like you haven’t seen me shower before.”

Jin slipped in happily and stripped himself from his clothes, sitting down to the cold bath with Kame.

And hell, he was happy he wasn’t a cat.

Cats couldn’t join Kame in his baths after all. Scaredy-cats, little scaredy-cats when it came to water!

He leaned in and kissed him. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears.

Kame wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him back.

And it was good to be Jin.
