So, I've been reading some actual books lately! I have thoughts, which I shall present in a rambling, barely literate manner, because that's what I do best.

Awww, thanks for recs. I have that David Mitchell book sitting on my nightstand and I've tried to start it twice. One of those things that has just pissed me off like mad, because, well, it's just TOO GOOD and it makes me jealous.

I was going to ask the flist about Hudson's book, as I'd have to buy it from the UK, so good to hear it's worthwhile!
