Randomly, I pretty much saw this fic and gaped in SHOCK. I'm in the middle of writing a fic like this too, except that in my version, Peony actually DOES attend Nephry's wedding! Oh my gosh, but this is such a sweet and sad fic. I love that Nephry still loves Peony but wants him to be happy with Jade. And you wrote Jade so in-character and Nephry so nicely and sdkjgbskdgs this is just so adorable.

Oh, I'm glad you liked it. Especially my Nephry characterization since she's, uh, not exactly in the game much so I was just like: "I'LL GO BY GUT INSTINCT AND HOPE THIS IS IN CHARACTER YAYZ." XD And now I'm excited to read your fic.
