Okay, so:

I have finally caught up to the end of S4 of Who, as well as the first two or so episodes of Sarah Jane Adventures (which pretty much is totally better than Torchwood). So many thoughts! So many questions! So many fic ideas!

lol i understand with the children of time and yea. i alot of New Who watchers wouldn't know much of old companions. We at least have seen Sarah Jane Smith

Yeah, I respect why they did it the way they did, and still really loved the result. But yeah, still wanted Ian! (Ian!) He was the first companion ever, back when the Doctor kidnapped humans for the lulz.

On one hand, Mickey and Martha would be fun in Torchwood because I love them, but if they moved over there permanently, they wouldn't get to have as much sexytime as Gwen or Ianto since they're originally from Who (see also, Jack, TW S1).

Rose was badass with the big gun. I liked that bit. And she was alright in Turn Left, even though I thought that one was really frigging depressing, lol.

I squealed loudly, but then again, K-9 (80s version, lol) was what made me start watching Who in the first place. I made my parents watch Androids of Tara with me more times than the Lion King, and that's saying something. My mom still refuses to watch that episode on principle.
