That would be the police force here, ACRO. They're apparently investigating missing people, but it's likely a cover. Whatever they're after likely won't concern you.

I'm hardly the best authority on that front. It's possible they are, but their brutality in this search indicates they're looking for something higher in importance. Maybe you should ask someone in ACRO about that.
