It was actually pretty fun riding on them when I was a knight.
Entelexeia. They are ancient... uh.. monsters. Really intelligent. They can communicate with you and some even helped humans, till most of them got eliminated by the great war ten years ago.

Jepp. If you get to know them, they can actually be nice, except for that fiery bird... but Belius was nice enough. Well, the war in generell was known, but not everything of the war was known to us. They did quite a good job in hiding the darker parts.
At least Entelexeia aren't like the normal monsters running around the world.

It was the only way to try change the empire from within! They are so corrupt, it's totally not funny anymore. Now even the Commander turned out to be a villain, who wanted to take over and destroy everyone he didn't like. He even used the princess to gain what he wanted!
We didn't have any other way to do anything against this if we had stayed down in the Lower Quarter. So we joined early.
True. That just shows even more how corrupt all these people in the empire were. Even killing one of the Entelexeia, even though this one helped them win against his own kind.
