As terrible as that rain was, I think the clean up has been even worse. ACRO has me running around looking for casualties and trying to follow reports left and right. I think a lot of us will be spendin' more time outta t'places we find than in. But then it's also better than spending the whole daynnight cycle in the workplace.

It's nothing I haven't done before. Being in the military means you spend more time than you have at work, after all.

Yep. True enough. Though ACRO sounds like a slave driver. Glad I took the BHA route. [Derp, his other job = slave driver though, too.]

I'm not that brilliant with firearms, so I figured it would be a good idea to stay inside the city unless otherwise necessary.

I don't know yet what we're going to do about furniture, but you'll probably be able to look into that better than I can right now.

No, not all of it. Just the standing water outside. I'm sure the city's water is safe, as they have to prepare for this sort of thing. Besides, if it wasn't we all would have gotten sick or killed by now.
