[Seems Cheryl's spent enough time in ye olde Boston to have gotten used to the place-- she seems relatively calmer than she was in her first post, at least on the outside. She's been laying low for a while, adjusting and possibly exploring the place; you may or may not have caught a brief glimpse of her on outings around the city, but nothing

I just think it might be easier to just ask people what they think of the jobs they've found before I go jumping into one. Recommendations to check out myself, ya know? It'd narrow things down a bit. Besides, the school's looking pretty tempting.

[She is about to simply cut off their conversation there, and there is a brief silence, until she gives a resigned sigh.] Alright, look. I'm sorry, okay? ... No, I haven't been the most productive person in the world. [She has been exploring, searching for weapons and such, but her excursions weren't exactly fruitful, and in fact unproductive in the long run. She is aware of this.] Getting a job wasn't really something I thought about much. I'm more into the whole "finding an escape" route. Asking people about this is my attempt at turning things around, I guess. [She clearly isn't very good at it.]

School, huh? I've never been to one. Too much sitting around for me!

Never, huh? Hah, if only I could've stopped going to school because there was too much sitting around... Makes sense to me, but not to my dad. Heh...
[She leans forward slightly, head tilted curiously.] They just... didn't have one where you're from? Where I'm from, it's against the law not to go. [She says this as if it's some sort of horrible fact-- an unbelievable torture.]

... Wait, exactly how old are you, anyway? [She looks him over.] I mean, you're human now... and you don't look that old.

I guess I'm not so helpful, huh?

Nah, it's alright. At least I'm not the only one unemployed.
Hey, no worries! We'll figure this stuff out somehow. [She pauses thoughtfully.]
Weeellll... I did a lot of part-time work back home, but this place seems like it needs more radiation cleaners and mad scientists than it needs waitresses and cashiers.
... What was it that you did back home? [It seems like a good place to start. Plus, it might be more helpful to have a buddy to search for jobs with. She asked for help, she might as well offer her own help if she can.]

It wasn't really a real job. I guess you could think of it as charity!

Also, it's been kind of fun not having to go...
I think we're going to move in with an older man named Jim Raynor-san, though. Him and Kurosaki-kun were looking for a house for us, last I heard...

... Huh. You guys are pretty lucky. Hard to believe, but my girlish charm hasn't really gotten me into any hearts around this place. Heh. [Unemployed, teenaged, and lacking in allies. She's always been pretty independent, but this might prove to be dangerous.]

Yeah. I don't think many people woke up with people they already knew here. We are pretty lucky. Is there no one here that you knew back home?

Nope. Just me. I mean, I was always kinda a lone wolf back home anyway, but you know... wouldn't hurt to have at least one buddy. [And that's... essentially all she had back home. One friend.]

I'm just sayin' that going back to school'd probably be a better bet than risking the oh-so-promising jobs I've seen so far. I mean... studying may be painful, but it won't kill me. Radiation, on the other hand...

But I never really had to go to school before...
