Alas, most male Vancouverites do not live up to Joss Whedon's high standards. On the other hand, I saw Jason Momoa downtown twice recently, and in both cases my initial reaction when we passed each other was, "FUCK, he's tall." I always expect people who come across as physically big on a TV or movie screen to be shorter in real life, but in that case, no.
