I recently read Cristopher Ryan and Cacilda Jethá's Sex at Dawn: The Prehistoric Origins of Modern Sexuality and it's definitely at the top of my recommended reading list.

Correction: I'm not seeing the angle with this particular entry. I already have an idea to poke apart capitalism's "economic man" assumption given the forager tendency to "pay it forward" with gift-giving.
