Had a well-timed weekend full of social thingamabobs involving all the lovely ladies of my flist who have profession-evoking LJ names that start with D.

My choir group is doing at least one piece by Janequin in our spring concert. It's about springtime and sex (two of the French Renaissance composers' favorite subjects besides war) and has no sound effects. Which, really, is just as well. *makes note to look for Le Guerre in MIT Music Library*
