I know that you are rather time cramped these days, but one thing that I have found that kind of helps me derive what I have done with my time is to actually either fix up your resume or write a brief autobiography about yourself. I have done both actually very recently and found it rather beneficial. On the surface, I think that I didn't do very much, but when I compile this on my own, I go "Wow. I did quite a bit." And the resume work I've done isn't because I am looking for anything beyond the land of the money faeries; I promised that I would never ever let that get behind more than one year.

Anyway, to apply this to your post: I know you're beyond that part according to your post, but, I think that it may generate some general satisfaction. Aren't you proud of the books you wrote? Not many people can say that.

I didn't say that I wasn't pleased with my accomplishments so far; I meant that I am not satisfied with my current default career path, which is why I am attempting this crazy entrepreneurial thing.

Actually I am well aware that I kick ass, outside of this thing. If I wanted to, I could get a sweet plum of a high-paying job doing something computery. And I would probably be morbidly sick of it before six months were over.

It's weird how much I think of you and cthulhia as natives, but I've been here longer than either of you (I moved here in 1995). I guess I just assume that everyone I meet has been here forever. I wonder how many people assume that about me.

Well, I lived on the south shore (Hingham & Cohasset) from birth through junior high, so I'm a sorta-native too.

There are exactly two people on my flist who I know for sure to have grown up in Massachusetts.
