I will sublimate my reptile urge to snap at someone in someone else's comments into this essay about "moronic cynicism" which I ran into a while ago and find reason to think upon it often. I don't like the term itself, but I like the observation and deconstruction.

I'd have to agree with the respondant who said he was using it as a self righteous description of everyone he didn't agree with. It started out ok, but then he started diluting it with "stuff I think is dumb" until the only definition I could get out of it was "poopyhead".

Everything before the examples I can see, though.
