I... I've seen you, and a couple other people on my flist and even a tweep or two doing things with these, and I don't understand. Literally. Could you please explain what this is, what the draw is?

I'll try! :D GPX Plus is a website where you collect Pokemon, and you interact with your/others' virtual 'mons and other folks interact with yours. There's not a whole lot to it other than that-- they've got "novelty" Pokemon, which are Pokemon you can't get in the games (they've got some that are based on the site creators/mods like Pokii and Dracowymsy, some that are based on things/events from the show/games like clone Pokemon from the first movie or fossil Pokemon that actually look like fossils, and some others like Eater Buneary or Winter Vulpix) and some features that are adaptations of things you could do in the original games (like VS Seeker, Battle Tower, the Daycare, sending Pokemon to the Underground, etc.). So, basically it's a Pokemon-themed timesink :P (kind of like Dragon Cave or, to some extent, Neopets

Hm. I could see where the "getting every pokemon" plus some thing would be a draw, but I barely have time to get on the Internet to check LJ, twitter, FB, tumblr, and my webcomics.... this is not a thing I need to get into.

oh man, I'm busy as hell. I stopped being MOG's president because... I'm the editor-in-chief of the UM newspaper. And also the head writer... and one of like 4 or 5 consistent photographers. HAHAhaha... SO. MUCH. WORK. It has been fun at times, it has taught me A LOT, it's been rewarding to see each issue print and hear great feedback on how we've improved it, but OH GOD IS THE YEAR UP YET? seriously. I've got my senior photography gallery show in the fall and I'm looking forward to that when compared to continuing to do this. haha.
Yeah, neither site is something you'd wanna start if you have limited internet time. It's kind of like playing any of those facebook games-- very "noooo, internet! Foreeeeeeever :D :D :D" if you know what I mean. XD
Uh, maybe school. Hopefully work! I'm moving into my dad's apartment. I'm excited about being able to walk to things. (I live in Athens currently, and uh, good luck if you don't have a car. :\ ) Also excited about not living with dysfunctional relatives holy shit. :D
