I adored this. It's a nice insight into how Alec works, how is treatment of women is not necessarily disrespectful but made up of so many different needs -- a need to protect himself, a need to experience something "normal" -- that makes his actions not quite selfish. You've portrayed this very well.

My favourite lines were:

She'll remember being warm, satisfied and irresistible.

I like this because it doesn't jump straight to the morning-after, creeping feeling of dread, or that he-hasn't-called moment of disappointment. He truly feels that he's given this girl something, instead of him simply taking, and it's hard not to believe him.

Oh, they're interchangeable, but they're also unique.Nicely done. While Alec jokes on the show that it's his favourite pick-up, I can see him actually believing this, because he's right. These girls are unique. I like how you wrote this piece so that you realise how Alec doesn't crave just sex, but different things from different women. It's very well done

Thank you muchly for the detailed fb - I'm so glad you liked it. Alec is a player, but he isn't quite the player that he thinks he is. Do you remember the line where he tells Max that he could be a perfect boyfriend, oh he could, but not as many of his acts are as insincere as he thinks.

While Alec jokes on the show that it's his favourite pick-up, I can see him actually believing this, Well, I can believe him using anything that comes to hand to get what he wants, and succeeding, and I can see him working the line better than Sketchy.

And I thought I was getting just a sentence! =p Yes, well you asked for Alec/anybody, just as the idea for this story had been occurring to me. Of course it then turned out to need more work than I expected, so that's the reason for the wait. Thanks again.
