purple_cube asked for my fannish timeline over the past ten years - which fandom I most associate with each year etc.

Picking one fandom for some years was really hard, because it turns out I’ve always been multifannish, which the nature of livejournal encouraged. But here goes!

Yes, I'm too interested in too many things, although even in the fandoms I noted in my post, there have been different levels of engagement. With some, I've always been more passive, reading and viewing the source and fanworks, while with others, I've been driven to write. Obviously, when I get into a fandom vs. when it's live is a factor - it's easier with a film or a British TV show - and whether I'm into a popular ship and how canonical it is, or if I want speculation and analysis more than squee (or vice versa).
