I love the books but I don't usually read the fiction. Maybe because I liked the actual premise better or whatever. But now the books are over.

And this is the first post-Hallows piece I've read. And I have to say, it's really, really beautiful. And it struck a chord. Fred dying was really shocking and sad. The Twins were my favorite characters. Other than Harry himself, JK killed every character I've loved.

Anyway I'd love to see more post-Hallows pieces because you write beautifully.

I'm in a similar position in that I never really read much HP fic, but I always thought I might depending on what happened in the last book. although right now I'm holding back on reading anything because I've been writing my own fic. (There might be more post-Hallows fic.)

Anyway, thank you so much for the feedback, it's wonderful to know that it elicited such a reaction. Fred's death has increasingly got to me since I closed the book.

The Nancy one is beautiful -- I always wanted to know where they went afterwards, and this makes Sense.

Thank you for the feedbac! I wish it wasn't so, but this future seemed logical to me. Of course, it's only a sliver of a whole life.

True.

I fell confident, though, that, after the War, in their world, her daughter became a round-the-world yachtswoman (probably in a yacht called something like 'Kachenjunga').
