The scene at the end was very nice and I loved how Max went and took what she wanted. Well, I like a take-charge, active Max. I hated it when she got drippy on the show, and given what's gone before in this story, I felt she had to do this for her.
And, as for the ending, like I've said, Giveaway gives a partial answer to what happens next. Well, later, any way.

Every now and then, I read something that makes me miss my Alec and his tempestuous Max. And this is one of them. It is interesting that Max was the one who got fed up of waiting for him while he was taking it slow. Patience has never been her strong suite, but you just know that it is one of Alec's, despite how ADD he can be about things.
And boy, all of Crash just saw her grab him. HEHEHEHE

I never really consciously thought that through - I was concentrating on this from where Max was at, and given what we've seen on the show, Max needs to work out what she wants for herself, but you're right about Alec being patient when he thinks it's worth it.
And yeah, hee! Still, embarrassed at Crash vs. kissing Alec - it's not a tough call.
