I do wonder about that plot point - the scary fellows with the blue hands.

Of course - there is a list of plot points I wonder about! (I love the Firefly!verse, don't get me wrong - but, well, there are some questions I have.....*g*)

Since posting this, I've found out that the Hands of Blue men were dealt with in the comics bridging Firefly and Serenity.

There are inevitably going to be questions with Firefly, because it was always going to be a much larger story, and though we got the film, well it was a film. Like I understood why Joss created The Operative (though I found the HoB men scarier) as an antagonist to pit against Mal etc. Oh well, may all these questions lead to fanfic (more canon would be shiny, but I doubt it'll happen)...
