Thank you so much! It's wonderful! I could easily see Sam keeping Jack at bay until retirement. Loved the little touch of her still doing her hair brushing gesture even years later! And the bit about John's wife and her hope he got a discount when he bought her surgery, made me laugh out loud, it was so very John! Love the bittersweetness of their delayed reunion and the gesture of her discarding the watch as the last vestige of her old life. Thank you fo such a lovely skewed present!!!

This is so bittersweet and beautifully written and wonderfully paced! I love Sam's inner monologue and Jack's (im)patience but willingness to wait, and the idea that Grace called in that final favor for her. So nicely done!
