Yeah, there may be an 'innocent' explanation for the bloke's intentions, but I wasn't about to ask him to find out. He didn't act drunk. a) I had a strong hunch he was up to no good, and I've learnt over the years to rely on my hunches, and b) Any man who gets into a woman's car without first being invited or trying to strike up dialogue from outside the car, and who wasn't thumbing a lift in the first place, is up to no good until proven otherwise imo

Okay... Well, your petrol tank is at the rear, and it comes to the engine via a pipe that travels the length of the car's passenger compartment, on the underside. I can't remember, but they HAVE done work on the petrol pump/filter, haven't they?
Gah. Cars. I'm so LUCKY with Rocky - 13 years old, a bit dented here and there, has needed ONE lot of major work (replacing starter motor wiring or sommat) and a couple of tyres and an exhaust, but apart from that (and a wee bit of welding to cover the rust-holes) - he's reliable, strong, simple, and brilliant. And quite possibly the first car I've felt truly confident in owning and driving, ever.
