She was still dressed in her lab coat and work clothes (she hadn't have time to change after work, they'd been busy beyond belief) but she had with her a bag of clothing and a little makeup. God, she wanted to make the right impression.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she reached the top, her eyes running about the station looking for him. Her breath caught as she spotted him, reading a book. Taking a deep breath she walked over to him, willing herself to calm down; "H-hey..." she said quietly, cursing the fact that she stuttered.

He let himself be led, glad for his presense around her, feeling safe and vaguely calm now. She sighed in relief as he guided her to a quiet table and was glad that the bar wasn't busy, she still had a severe dislike for crowds. "I'm really glad I'm not wearing my lab coat anymore" she laughed softly, trying to start a conversation when they'd sat down. Yes, very random.

He grinned at her fully. "I still like the lab coat, but this is... very very nice as well." He touched her arm gently, then took her hand gently. "Thank you for meeting me, Adrienne. I'm glad that we decided to do this."

"My lab coat isn't something you go out in. But thank you. I'm glad you like this, my favourite colour is purple" she grinned, fingering her sleeve. The fabric was soft, comforting, her black trousers and smart shoes the same. Yes, she felt safe, and that was really something; "I'm glad we decided to do this too..." she ran her thumb over the back of his hand, looking into his eyes softly, a little shy.

Smiling he looked down at her hand on her sleeve. "The colour suits you very well." She really did look good. He matched her gaze, turning her hand over in his and kissing her palm softly.

"Thank you" she blushed, blushing even more as he kissed her palm. She reached up, brushing her fingers across his chin, feeling the slight stubble there.

He smiled and closed his eyes for a moment, then kissed her fingertips. "So, drinks?" he asked softly.

She almost moaned as he kissed her fingertips but managed some how to hold it in, nodding at his question; "Yes, please. Whiskey and Coke, please" She had developed her father's love of whiskey but she could never drink it neat. She reached into her wallet and pulled out a £10 note, handing it to him.

He shook his head. "Put your money away. I asked you out, I'm paying," he smiled, standing to go to the bar. He kissed her cheek softly and then headed up.
It didn't take long to get their drinks and he came back, setting them on the table and sitting back down.

She smiled as he came back; "Thank you" She picked up her glass and sipped a little of it, grateful for the burn in her throat. It had been quite a while since she had drank any alcohol, she hoped she wouldn't make too much of a fool of herself. She probably wouldn't drink anymore tonight.
