For those with iOS devices, Layton Brothers Mystery Room is finally out in English. (and I believe it's also in Italian, German, French and Spanish) The first two cases are free, and then cases 3-6 are £1.99/$2.99/€2.69, with cases 7-9 costing £1.49/$1.99/€1.79 ( Read more... )

Yeah, it seems like video games developers these days are looking at putting spin-offs/sequels/HD releases of established franchises on phones/tablets as a way of generating money, which is fair enough but it still sucks if you don't own one of those devices. Mystery Room looks like it could work as an e-shop title on the 3DS, it makes heavy use of the touch screen.

Who Alfendi's mum is... well, that's the million dollar question, isn't it? Sometime after the Lost Future Hershel must have met someone, and I'd really like to know her name and what she looks like. It'd also be cool if there was a cameo of older Luke, but somehow I doubt that's the case. Still only on the second case, though, so I'll have to wait and see what the deal is with Alfendi, I guess.
