Question: how come this is called devil's flute when the only game I can see coming out on gamestop is specter? (and thats tomorrow, as it ships today).

It's called "Professor Layton and the Last Specter" in the US and in Europe it's called "Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call".

Oh, wait. I think I just realized what you were asking. I think a fan-translated version of the original title from Japanese was Devil's Flute or something like that. Which you'd think this post would also tag the Last Specter, since that is the official title.

Two things I noticed with the opening cutscenes- the specter looks like a red-eyed Heartless from Kingdom Hearts (a friend and I joked about Luke having a Keyblade twice his size), and for some reason I really, REALLY love the voice foley that Luke has in it... I couldn't help but calling him Squeek Toy, because that's what he reminds me of. And that's a good thing.

It makes me sad this topic doesn't have tons of comments T~T I've been playing for like 8+ hours now, but haven't needed any puzzle help yet. I hope to finish soon~

I don't even HAVE the game yet. I won't have it until the end of the week (free shipping = takes forever to get here). I think that's why there aren't many comments.

Yeah--a few people I know said their stores won't even have it until tomorrow. As usual though, the Nintendo Store had it on release day x-x still, I was hoping at least some people would've already gotten it as I know sometimes other stores get them right away :/

Me either. Sadness. Also, I haven't even started Unwound Future which I got LAST Christmas. Silly me having a life. xD Also, I'm still mad at my DS because the mic quit working right at the end of Diabolical Box. D: Do you need the mic for any puzzles in UF or LS?
