The only thing I can see them getting away with it on is the colour of the material. Maybe round the shape off too.

Ooh, this is kind of news to me. I didn't know the overseas market is sensitive to portrayal of hoods in art (how did they pass Kingdom hearts then?) But the more you know, I guess... it's good to learn about these things (since it's not an issue where I live.)

Well, his name in English is a play on words, which means his name in Japanese is probably also a play on words (and I just looked it up, his Japanese name is in fact Naruhodo.) Thus, you know, the lolling.

It's kind of funny how (except for the passing scene of the college) Layton is put in a comparatively antagonistic light in this trailer. I'm sure that justice will be done to him in the end, but I wonder if if he really will be as strongly depicted as a "rival" for the entire game, a la typical Ace Attorney prosecutors.

Either way, it's really weird to see Phoenix animated. And is it me or are Layton's proportions less stylized? Makes sense.

His head looks really weird on that proportionate body though. :(
