Oh jeebus, bahahahahaha. :D :D :D :D :D XD
So when I first got there I was on my phone with a friend, thankfully he didn't come down the hill to greet me so I wasn't too embarrassed about that, even though I was stupidly winded when I got in there. He came out to greet me though and took my guitar for me, all grins. :D We started out the lesson listening to some music and he told me about his recent gig in Virginia and made some other mundane small talk, then we got out our guitars and I bitched and cursed under my breath because my FUCKING HANDS were shaking again and I couldn't press the strings properly, lmao. My new assignment is learning La Bamba, because "every latino should know that song." *nods* He also says we're gonna have our normal half hour lesson but we can't really hang out today because he has to work out or he's going to go crazy, and I can understand this because I'm the same way about my music. I HAVE to listen to my music or I'll go nuts. And he hadn't worked out for a few days. I was disappointed and almost wanted to asked if I could go too, hahahaha, but I refrained. v.v
And the whole damn time I had him laughing. See, when I get nervous I laugh and make jokes, it's just how I am, and I had him cracking up, and he goes, "I can see us becoming close friends," points between himself and me, "you're a lot of fun." Kept shaking my hand, usually when I would curse my hand out for shaking, hahaha. He also said, and I quote, "you sure look good behind that guitar *smile*." Hahaha, oh I love my life sometimes.
Anyway, now that we have that out of the way.
So after he's written my lesson down and the chords and everything he starts playing Time of Your Life by Greenday, and I'm like *swoon* and we start singing it. He had such a hard time getting in the right key LOL it was cute, cause his voice is so deep. So I started singing with him and we did that for a while and I asked him if he knew More Than Words. I LOVE that song. I think I might've melted into the floor if he'd known it. ;} Unfortunately he didn't, so I decided I was gonna try to find it on my phone, which was when I snuck a couple pictures of him hehehehe I am teh sneekiez. Anyways, I found it and he tried but we lost interest pretty quick. We tried that and Bell Bottom Blues because I had told him our first lesson that I made that his special ringtone and he said that's one of his favorite songs. But he didn't know that one either. Pewp. :(
So then we start talking, and oh my God, the best fucking conversation EVAR. Gosh. We talked about poetry, I told him one of the poems I wrote forever ago that I had memorized and he was listening intently, watching me. And then he has this look on his face like deep contemplation or something like that, and he said something about it being very emotional. He said I'm very well spoken and you'd never know I dropped out of highschool, and I told him when I went for my GED classes I took a pretest and my teacher told me really I could go take the test now and pass it but he wanted to work on my math, and that I missed so much school when I was still in school that I basically would go and take the tests and ace them and that's how I passed what I did pass. He seemed really impressed and said I'm very talented, that I need to bring some of my work with me next time. We talked about some other little things.
And then somehow or other we started talking about love. I think I had asked him about the lady that called the last time I was there, I called her his "lady friend," and he was all, "now wait a minute, she's not my girlfriend..." I think that's what he said. Either that or, "I don't have a girlfriend." And I smiled cheekily and said, "well, I said friend," and he laughed and was all, "yeah I know, you did, you're right, I just wanted to make sure..." And in the meantime I was putting my guitar away, so there's a quiet moment and I sit up perfectly straight and go, with really good timing, "so why not?" Hahahaha, I am so slick. Anyways, he's like, "well, that's a long explaination..." and smiles and looks as if he's kind of apprehensive to tell me, hesitates and rubs his mouth like he does when he's contemplating and I kind of shrug like, "and? I got the time." So he starts saying, "well, she just doesn't have that... we don't really, she's um... well she's an old Italian woman," backtracks, "she's an Italian woman, you know? Set in her ways and... all we talk about is pizza." And we both burst out laughing, don't know why really, and it goes from there.
"Yeah, I know what you mean. I mean, you can't be with somebody that you can't talk to." He agrees. "I mean, there's passion and then there's the, the... love." He agrees again.
"Yeah, and she really pursued it man. She wanted to be my wife. She really, uh..."
*Acts coy* "Well jeez, could play a little hard to get," laugh. He laughs, too.
I can't remember the rest of that particular conversation after that, fuck my memory. At some point he said something like he bets I date a lot, or asked if I do date a lot, and I said, "actually I've never had an actual boyfriend *casts him a flirtacious sidelong glance, catches myself and fixes my eyes*." And he smiles and says he can't believe that, I'm a beautiful girl. Hmm, what else worth noting. I told him I'm looking for someone who's going to help to better me, somebody that I can respect. That respect is a VERY, very big thing with me. I respect everybody on a certain level, I'll respect your privacy and if something offends you, I won't push it on you. And he's nodding and says quietly, "yeah, I noticed that about you..." and I nodded back. But that my true, genuine respect has to be earned. Then I started dropping hints, lmao.
I was like, "I was talking to a friend recently and she was talking about how she likes older men recently, like 30s and such..."
"How old is your friend?"
"19."
"Oh that's not too bad then."
"Yeah, nah it's not..."
I don't really remember finishing that thought. I do remember going back into my tyrade about needing to be with somebody who betters me as a person, and I'm really looking for an older man and whatnot. It's very confusing to try to remember because we were both talking at the same time. He said he would like to have a wife, somebody who lives there in his house with him and such. That he could make somebody happy because he's happy with where he's at and when you're happy you can make others happy and etc etc. Was saying he'll probably marry "somebody 18, maybe a little older," but doesn't see himself marrying an older woman. I'm like OH SHIT, OH YEAH BABY. Hahahaha. And he was saying that he needs someone with depth, someone that can keep up with him because he's always changing and always growing, and truthfully so am I. I mean I was dropping hints all over the fucking place, and I think he was too X.X but I really don't want to read too much into it, I don't want to get my hopes up. I just try to keep thinking, "free guitar lessons... free guitar lessons..." lmao. And shortly before that he was saying that I'm a very deep person, and was like in awe that a 20 year old could be so deep and thoughtful. He kept going, "20 years old," shaking his head and grinning. I'm like, "yeah, I think a lot." Hahaha. Just after he said about depth he brought up "the pizza lady," and pointed to the answering machine rofl, and said that she just doesn't have that depth. He had also mentioned something about having "that latino passion," and grinned. I was like, "oh yeah, me too hahahaha." Yeah, I actually said that. X.X
I remember telling him, when we were talking about when I met my father for the first time, that I had never until that time and haven't since been so comfortable with a person just meeting them. He goes, "well you seem pretty comfortable here with me," or something to that degree, and smiles. I also remember at some point, somehow we were talking about me working at the store, and he implied that he talked to me because he saw a girl "with a beautiful smile and a beautiful face," and smiled. He was watching me and smiling the whole time I was talking about love and everything. And then when we were leaving he usually hugs me, but this time he squeezed me and kind of rocked us and said something like, "ooh you're so tall," or something like that lmao. I was just kind of like O.O, cause I'm not a real touchy feely kind of person. Then he's walking me down the hill and we're talking and walking slowly, I asked him if he believes in fate and he said he does, that if you're a musician you'll believe in fate because you know it can't just be luck. I invited him to my house to meet my mom because he's been wanting to, and while we were on the front porch and they were talking I was standing there just all grins, trying to be cool and leaning against the side of the building lmao. Told her I have a beautiful smile and a beautiful face and "strong fingers," rofl, which my mom keeps bringing up and laughing about. X.X
It was just so fucking amazing. It's like everytime I see him it gets better and better, hahaha. We both kind of agreed that he came into my life for a reason, cause the coincidences are too uncanny. And it's pretty awesome to be able to talk about my beliefs in fate without them looking at me funny. o.O I mean I'm sure there's a holy crapload of things that I forgot to mention, and I'll remember them later and be pissed at myself for not mentioning them, but I think I covered enough for you to get the slightly-more-than-basic gist of the whole thing. Gosh. It was nuts. Omg. :D Pinch me, for real.
