I get that he's a good actor, but it isn't just the American thing that throws me, because I know he could pull of being a brit (even though I feel like he'd have to live there for a while before to really have that mentality built in), but when I imagine him as The Doctor, walking around in the TARDIS, I get this deep unsettling feeling. I can't exactly pinpoint it (I'll tell you when I do), so it sounds like I'm just complaining for the sake of complaining.

I guess we can use Matt Smith as an example of where my brain is currently floating. He was born to play that role. When he isn't acting the part, part of him still is the Doctor and always was , even before he got the job. Enver Gjokaj has that acting spark (which DT has), but he doesn't have that Time Lord spark (which DT also has).

I can't wait to answer this question myself, but I'm still weeks away in the meme, but my icon sort of answers for me (except he wouldn't b the 'next' doctor because he needs to age up a bit)

I can't really see him as the Doctor, but Enver needs to be on EVERY SHOW EVER.

Man if you only thought AVPM was like 25% good, don't even bother with AVPS, which is like 75% offensive.

(Not sure I want him as the Doctor, but I want him on the show. OMG I want him on the show. He and Matt Smith would be brilliant together. OMG he could play the master.)
