Thoughts on "The Big Bang"
I'm very lost because I still haven't watched "The Pandorica Opens" because I can't find a download link, but I'm watching "The Big Bang" right now and I decided to start making comments as I'm watching:
- "I'm sorry, my love. I'm sorry, my love. I'm sorry, my love." <---- My heart is just thudding! So tragically romantic. But then The Doctor shows up. "Honey, I'm home!" Mwahahahahaha! They are so married and I don't care who else says different. They are too husband and wifey not to be married, damnit! :P
- Who else loved Amy and River ganging up to kill the fez? I burst out laughing so hard! Their friendship is adorable. And I love that they're always on the same page...especially when that page is against The Doctor.
- Did he just bop River on the nose? LOL Goddess, I love their bickering, it's the best.
- River's pain over The Doctor's death was absolutely heartwrenching! But then how hot was it when she told Amy and Rory to go downstairs and she'd be with them in a minute, then she totally went off on that Dalek? I mean, usually I feel bad for the Daleks when they beg for mercy, but this one I didn't. I guess because it killed The Doctor and took him away from River. But now I am wondering why the Dalek was begging River for mercy. What has she got on them that makes them afraid? I think I love her even more now and I didn't know that was possible.
- Aww, look at how tenderly she's touching him in the Pandorica. *heart melts*
- Ah! Amy saw River! And River was lookin' pretty smug.
- River's diary! It's blank! Good ol' diary. And ahh! I love how they incorporated "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" into one thing. The TARDIS is old. But the TARDIS regenerated and became new. Then Amy borrowed River's TARDIS diary and of course, the TARDIS has always been blue! Ha, Moffat, you are a genius!
- Oh no, what happened to The Doctor's moves? Is he intentionally being bad?
- Aww, he's watching them dance. Please tell me River's going to pop up and dance with The Doctor!
- YES! He always dances at weddings. "Spoilers!" *cough*He dances at their wedding.*cough* Dance with her, Doctor! Dance. With. Her!
- "Are you married?" "Yes." YES! She's totally married to The Doctor. And she's accepting his proposal, because you know he was asking even if he wasn't asking. Because that makes sense. Yes.
- "River Song, Who are you?" She's a Who. She's Mrs. Who, that's Who.
