"For a few hours," Snape agreed, watching Lupin's tongue brush across his lower lip. The memory of that tongue brushing over the head of his cock, causing his body to stir again.

Snape shifted on the bed, putting himself in alignment with Remus before sliding his fingers into his hair and pulling him in for a kiss.

Severus waits until he's certain Lupin has fallen asleep, the carefully leaves the bed. Casting a cleaning charm on both of them, he silently puts his clothes on. For a few long moments, he stares at Remus, memorizing how relaxed he looks in sleep.

Then, he quietly leaves the room. In some things, he truly is a coward.

Remus slept more deeply and longer then usual. When he finally awoke he was unsurprised, but somehow disappointed, to find that he was alone.
