7th Year Students

McGonagall was seated at the front of the room when the students entered.

Though they had met once or twice since the start of the new term, the 7th year students were surprised to find name tags assigning them to new seats and new seating partners ( Read more... )

Nicole listened to Professor McGonagall as intensely as she could. But it was hard, being in the front row. It only made Nikki nervous and very much aware that she was not the best student.

When the professor asked for a volunteer, she only slumped down in her chair, playing with the end pieces of her hair. Hopefully, she'd go unnoticed.

It was one of the quickest movements that garnered a professor's notice, and Minerva did not miss the slump that followed after her request.

"Miss Carsini? Perhaps you would like to assist me in the demonstration?"

"I..um..." Nikki stumbled, angry that she couldn't blend at all.

"Perhaps I could see it first, Professor?" she said. "I think I'd understand it better if I saw it once or twice first."

"Very well," McGonagall answered curtly, and then promptly waved her wand at the desk in front of the girl.

"Inanimatus conjurus lebes."

Within seconds, a proper black cauldron appeared in the empty space.

"Now, I would like to see one of you attempt it for the class. Unless you think someone else would like to demonstrate in your place?" she asked, looking between the girl and the class to indicate her only hope was to convince another student to volunteer.

Allie let out a small, nervous exhale of breath and began to reread the page in front of her. Transfiguration was one of here least favorite classes, and she wasn't exactly brilliant at it either.

"Gosh.." She murmured, tapping her wand on the desk before her, "What am I doing?"

She sighed, glancing over at her tablemate. He didn't seem to look too worried.

Great, I feel dense..

"You're tapping your wand on your desk," he answered, barely looking in her direction, mostly to avoid the distraction, although he wouldn't have admitted it.

After a moment, however, he lifted his hand just enough to catch the attention of the Professor.

"I can demonstrate."

"Sorry.." The Brazilian mumbled, letting her wand drop onto the table surface.

"Didn't realized it bothered you so.."

"Montague? Be my guest," she instructed, nodding in the student's direction.

"And Miss Gonzales? I would suggest you pay attention."

OMG! How did that happen?!

Dude, I'll remake it and get her on there. We'll seat her next to Landon and move Lee back to sit by Evelyn since they're both on hiatus at the moment.

♥ just for youuuu

Angie had her transfiguration book open and propped up on her desk.

Inside was a 'Quidditch League's of Europe' opened to the page on the top ten teams. Angelina was obviously distracted and didn't even hear the question asked.

But after a few moments she noticed people popping up cauldrons, or attempts at doing so, and Angelina pulled down the book to look at the spell.

Why do I even need to know this?! I'm not going to need a cauldron for Quidditch!

Sighing she quickly pulled back up the 'Quidditch Leagues of Europe' and started slipping to the top ten players.

Fred, obviously not doing his work, was looking around for something to do. He frowned at the fact Angelina was all the way across the room, mentally shaking his fist at McGonagall.

He noticed she wasn't doing any work.

Ms. Johnson,

Get the hell to work!

~~Mr. MonsMag

Crumpling the paper into a ball, he chucked it at her head, then quickly leaned over his cauldron, looking intent.

Angie felt the small ball hit her head and a rather displeased look crossed her face.

Picking it up she read the note and looked over. She could see a few people who would have done such a thing but all were goofing off.

Fred on the other hand was hard at work.

Mr. Weasley,

Throw paper at me again and I'll give you chicken pox.

Crumpling up the paper she waited until the coast was clear and lobbed the ball at Fred's head.

He looked up in a state of shock and outrage.

"Professor!" he said loudly, calling McGonagall over, holding the paper ball in his hand.
