Tunnel Man has a unique way to get certain golden idols. The trap is triggered by lifting it off of this ground... so why not destroy the ground before picking it up, circumventing the trap completely?

Tunnel Man averages 2-3 times as much money per floor as the Spelunker. This is key to our sinister plan.
It is kind of easy to accidentally destroy altars with Tunnel Man! This is a bad thing so don't do it.
Gotta be careful with situations like this one. That gold deposit is very tempting, but there's a shop down there - and it isn't easy to judge how close I can dig before the shopkeeper interprets it as vandalism.

Even with these riches, these prices are just ludicrous.
Unfortunately, when I picked the dame up and then dropped her, she started running around like a headless chicken, which the shopkeeper saw as theft. Arrgh.
And this is what I get for my punishment! A shopkeeper at the exit of the next floor, armed with a shotgun and furious. Maybe with some very careful timing I can--
