>> Chapter 5: Water Shortage
Time to brave a whole new world!
Well, part of a world, at least.
That's quite a thing on the right there.
But first things first. There's something on the left here.
It looks like a hole in the wall, and a button.
When I press the button, symbols appear!
They go like this:
That one I drew in different colors is because when it showed that image, it also made a strange noise. I think that's important.
But enough of that. We have a yellow building!
Not much of a room. There's only one thing here, I say.
So, let's play with it!
Well, hmm.
This looks straightforward, I think.
It's a simple matter of matching symbols, it looks like.
But one wrong tile, and it all falls apart. Tricky, tricky.
Still, diligence and hard work.
And done! It has some buttons on the end.
I try to click down, but something's blocking it.
Is that water?
Well, let's look outside.
This should be fun to mess around with...
Gosh.
Well, let's try this again.
No water this time!
Also...
...is the bridge gone?
It isn't! It just went down along with the doohickey.
These stairs are more slippery than they look.
Still, I escape with my dignity intact!
Hm.
I think I won't jump in the drain.
Oh, look! One of these things.
Works just like the other one! I wonder where it goes.
...all over the place, it turns out.
Okay, let's explore!
[ BGM -

I found a radio! Nice tunes.

I've wound up on a path going straight up.
Frankly, I don't think I'm in the lake at all at this point.
At the top, I found a house.
It looks like this is somebody's bedroom. Maybe Willie's, as the W would suggest.
Anyway, it would be rude to look around any further, so back to the maze.
This path's leading me to right under the cannon.
You don't say.
Back to the maze again!
These look important. I'd better remember this.
And finally, a dead end.
Okay, I think we're done here.
Next time, I'll start with that yellow building.
