Route 4, Chapter 8: They're Hacking our Internets

Sara is trolling me for having a crush on You!

She's speaking in Ninja here, in the Japanese.

THERE IS NO WAY THAT THIS IS WEIRD LET'S MOVE ON

Okay!

Time to get to the hacking.

Hacking commences!

I am left in the dust by Sara being smart and savvy.

EXCITING MATHS

Sara is not doing well on the hacker front!

This means she is in a bad mood.

Considering the kind of data allegedly stored in here, the security on this system is abnormal!

What is Lieblich hiding in here?

The final weapon in Sara's arsenal:

Social engineering.

This method would be tricking someone with access to letting you win willingly.

In our case? That means tricking Sora.

The only downside to this plan is that Sora has just been relentlessly excellent to us since day one here.

We don't want to do it.

All right, back to the conventional hacki--

Uh.

So!

We've been caught.

No point in denying it! You admits what we're up to immediately, and we get to trying to persuade Sora that we're in the right!

Sora sympathizes, and would like to help!

Unfortunately, though, her job is to repel intruders, and repel she must.

You, however, has a plan!

Sora doesn't want to do it, so we'll just alter her programming so that she doesn't have to! Somehow!

Ultimately, the decision of whether or not to proceed is on Sora's shoulders.

Remember, Sora: You said you wanted to be like us.

All right!

Time to hack the fuck out of Sora.

As Sara starts working her magic, though, something strange starts happening to Sora!

Uh oh.

Sora's got some kind of split personality thing going on!

She warns us that if we don't GTFO, she may end up harming us.

As established in Sora's route, she can be pretty scary if she needs to! She's using RSD to drop us inside an illusory ocean.

Close your eyes, everyone!

If we do that, though, she counters with migraine-inducing high-frequencies from the room speakers.

This is our last warning.

But Sara continues doggedly taking apart the system security!

She won't lose to Lieblich!

It's like the scene with the two Soras in the first route - she wants to do one thing, but is designed to do another.

Accordingly, she's trying to talk us through how to bypass her own security countermeasures as they happen.

Intentionally compromising one segment of her own security system, she creates a brief window of attack! Now's our chance!

The attack isn't easy for Sora, either! It's affecting her memory, and she's starting to lose a grip on her identity as the system falls apart...

This can't be good.
