Small earthquake out here. They're all different--you could hear a slight rumble, but mostly a loud POOOOM! sort of sound and a shock as though someone had run a large truck into the wall behind my house. The cats hated it. But it seemed to be over quickly and I convinced them it was cool, and now it's as though it never happened.

I'm guessing it's part Lautner himself, who busted his hump to keep the role, and part screaming fangirls, who signed a kazillion petitions and sent them to Summit, saying "OMG you can't recast Taylor, we will hate U." Or it may have been my one pathetic signature, adding "I cannot believe I am signing this, but keep the kid anyway."

Bummer about the earthquake. Didn't feel a thing down here.
I hope your nose is OK. I had a professor who broke his nose once, and his face was one gigantic bruise, but the vomit-colored tie drew the attention away from it.

The earthquake was very moderate--only a 4.5, and it was out in San Berdoo. Apparantly people felt it as far away as LA, but really what I mostly noticed was the loud BOOM. The cats froze, made themselves look big, and then ran to hide under some stuff.
Probably Cass would have rolled "WooHoo Jimmy," except he didn't seem that interested and I didn't press it.
