Sadly, I don't think I can bill your insurance company for a consultation fee :( Maybe your neurologist can send me a Fruit Basket of Correctness?

BoTox might not be a bad way to go, depending on how long each treatment will last. The risk is fairly low, and it's noninvasive, and you never know, the blood vessel might just shuffle its way back on out on its own at some point in the future.

Well, we'll see. The blood vessel pretty much never shuffles back on its own, as far as I know. I'm leery of the BoTox, too, since it doesn't always work and your eye and stuff can begin to droop permanently--plus eventually it quits working for good. You have to go back every three months, I think. But I'll see what the second guy says, assuming I can get permission to see him and assuming he'll make time for it.

OMG a doctor's excuse to have Botox? I'd be like "Make me 20 again! And, er, yeah that darned twitch has to go."

I. . . don't think it works like that! They can't shoot your whole face full of BoTox, I don't think. They're going for getting your eye to stop twitching, and mostly what's driving me crazy is my *lip* twitching. The eye twitch is not fun, but the lip quivering and the sensation of drooling when I'm trying to lecture has got to go. At least it's not really painful. It's just maddening ( ... )
