LOL, of course Cecil has developed such a spell X) Slytherin will be better than it has ever been before! And I guess which house he would be in would never have been in much doubt.
But I'd never thought of Cecil 'mincing' anywhere >.>, although checking the ACTUAL definition rather than the usage I've heard, it makes a lot more sense.
Honeybun! :D

"...five for your obvious dislike of cats." Cecil I love you!

Cecil is totally a Slytherin! And of course he brought a cat. I think all Goodytwoshoes must bring cats to Hogwarts, and anyone who gets *gasp* an owl is looked on as very unusual.

I've never thought about whether or not you can bring a family pet or you can only bring one from Eelop's. I know Mrs. Figg does a booming business in Kneazle/cat crosses. I suspect that Honeybun may be part Kneazle. He certainly acts like it.

I always thought you could. I mean, Ron didn't buy Scabbers new, did he? And Neville got Trevor as a gift, but I always figured he didn't actually pick him out.

Yes, that makes sense. And Pigwidgeon, too.

Cats are mandatory for most Goodytwoshoes, although Lytton does have a lambdog and waaay back there, Wolf Gal and Derek had two Irish wolfhounds.

That is such a Cecil spell. Not quite Imperio, of course, we mustn't do anything illegal, but promoting more mannerly behavior is surely permitted...

Yeah, it's in a grey zone, like Cecil himself. Obviously, it's related to Imperio, but I think of it as acting more like a Love Potion: it wears off in less than 24 hours, and you can shake it off, only most people never do.

And of course it never should be used to get higher marks. That would be wrong.

As I clicked the link, I wondered what house Cecil would be in. Then, I asked myself why I bothered wondering about it. He could never be anywhere but Slytherin.

I want to learn that spell of his :D

On a non-Goodytwoshoes note, I like that Scorpius is still running to Draco. I imagine generations upon generations of Malfoy boys yelling, "My father will hear about this!"

Really. I don't think the Sorting Hat hesitated for a second.

I think you're right. It's really hard to bust up entitled people. It's too bad, because as I imagine Scorpius (not that I've given it a lot of thought), he could have some really positive qualities. I suppose I was thinking of Grandfather Lucius the way Jason Isaacs did him and what it would be like having that around the house: resentful, emasculated, and probably mopping up the Firewhisky like a sponge. Something like people who talk about how grand times were back when the family was really important and wonderful in ol' Dixie, when excuse me, that was at least fifty years before you were even born. Shades of Blanche Dubois.
