*dies*

You know what? I think this is one of the first times we've ever heard Cecil's thoughts. I take that back, there was a lot of it in the last chapter. But still, his thoughts are pretty much what I had figured them to be:

People are stupid.

*snorts with laughter again*

"People . . . are dumb. *KTHUD*." Yeah. Well, he let himself in for it!

I suppose there is a lot more of Cecil's thoughts, but I figure there have to be, since I'm consciously not intruding my own voice at all except for "now turn we unto Duessa" and I'm not engaging the characters in back and forth speech. I think that might be game-driven, partly: TSM is much more obviously a God game. But I hope he's still recognizably Cecil!

Hehe. It's quite a cast Cecil has to deal with there! :D Poor Cecil - but all the more fun for us!

Max totally called it.

Which thing did Max call? He made so many worried predictions about why this was a foolish idea. Cecil's not dead, but he does sometimes want to slam his head against that writing desk. Do you mean that Max was convinced that you can't really change human nature?--because if so, he was dead right.

Yeah, mostly Max was right that people will be people, and they'll always be imperfect (at least by Cecil's standards).
