Oh, of course. The batteries are dead in my camera and right now a picture of Marko would be a pair of big glowy eyes under a chunk of furniture, but probably in a few days.
Go cuddle the nearest cat in your vicinity--that is, if he or she will let you.
Aww! Your post made me feel all warm and happy and I'm not even much of a cat person. They sound wonderful! Have you any idea how old they are? Pictures?
Slightly less than a year old? They were probably born in March of last year. Which means they've been foster children since last June.
I can't believe people actually pass up black cats and torties. I guess they really do. The cages are full of black cats and they were telling me that if a tortie isn't adopted by the fourth or fifth month, when it's no longer "cute," that's that.
I think Marko may be sulking because he had a big pink fluffy collar tied around his neck. I asked about that--kind of undignified for a boy--and they said, "well. . .anything to make people look at a black cat."
Awwe, congrats on your new editions! I'm so jealous - not allowed to have a pet in my current apartment and living without a cat or dog around just doesn't feel right. I hope your two settle in well.
Yay kitties! I'm so happy for you! And you are right, cats should come in pairs. (Stupid Pen for letting her parents talk her out of the second one.) I want to see pictures too when you get your camera working. And I cannot believe that people don't adopt torties and black cats. Torties are my favorite and black cats are just cool looking.
Yay! I am so glad you now have some new kitties in your life.
I was actually thinking about this the other day, and wondered if you were closing to adding some new furry owners into your life. After all, we don't own our cats, they own us.
How old are these two kitties? Do you get the joy and terror of the kitten stage, or are they already a bit past that? Either way, you now have feline love back in your house. :)
My three kitties (Malakhi from the back of my chair, Johnson from the floor nearby, and Pashenko from where he's already sprawled out claiming my queen size bed as his own) send their best wishes to yours. :)
