i had a dream last night that moffat wrote the most rubbishy, godawful script for the sherlock s2 premiere - like, it started off as a okay pastiche of SCAN with bits of SIGN thrown in, and then it degenerated into this bizarre story about symbols of femininity throughout history and all of the characters became idiots and then they found all these ( Read more... )

what is brain?, the time vortex, the word you're looking for is random, wtfffffffffff

Hmmm, this is how I feel about Moffat MOST DAYS. And now he is depriving you of precious pleasant dreams!

:raises tiny fist:

btw, you were in a dream of mine the other night.

I really should not post comments when I've just woken up... Let's try this again, shall we? :)

I meant to ask you what you thought of the "Let's Kill Hitler" episode, because I thought that it was awful. To me, it felt like Moffat realized that he needed to establish some important plot points, but couldn't figure out how to build an episode around them that wasn't crap. I've really enjoyed the past two seasons otherwise, so at least there's that.

Also, reply to your emails darnit! :P

i loved "let's kill hitler" although it did feel a bit rushed. i wish that had been a two-parter instead of the flesh episodes from the first half of the season.

i found the finale underwhelming. i haven't rewatched it tey, though, so my opinion may change upon reflection.

also, re: your first comment: lols. <3

Perhaps this will get me burned at the stake, but I want new companions.

I was thinking about it, and the reason I think this feeling of ennui comes from not enough interesting reoccurring characters and/or interesting dynamics between those characters.

Maybe. I dunno. Or I am just sick of the "love conquers all" thing repeated over and over.

i really enjoy amy when she's onscreen, but she doesn't hold a lingering interest for me the way martha or donna did - i have no idea why, because if i describe her, she sounds amazing! She's totally the type of person i've wanted on the show. but, on the other hand, there are plenty era of the show that i super love but i don't have much interest in reading or writing fic about, for instance. so.

rory is... rory. yeah.

anyway, i'd be cool with new companions. i'd also be cool with resolving a few of the plot threads that have been dangling for the past several years now.
