Narcissa sighed. What in hell was this about? Her schoolwork was all in order, and there hadn't been any trouble with fellow students lately. Was somebody starting rumors about her and Eveline again? If so, they were wasting their time. She'd never been alone with Eveline since the narrow squeak last time when someone had filled people's ears with rumors. The only times she'd gone to Eveline recently was during Jason's absence for some tutoring and innocent company, and she'd taken Serj Voskerichian with her each time. As if she'd be doing any snogging with an eleven year old in tow!

Whoever the rumour-starter was, Narcissa was going to find out. And they were going to die. Painfully.

With another sigh, she knocked on Dumbledore's door.

"Enter!"

Albus reclined back in his seat. Miss Black. It would be good to finally see how a mature, young lady handled such things as this.

"First of all, I promise you that you're not in any trouble at all. Would you care for a lemon drop?"

"No, thank you, Professor," Narcissa said politely and rather inscrutably. Lemon drops were rather nauseating, in her opinion, but she preferred not to let others know her disdain, especially those in power. Typically Slytherin of her...

"I'm glad that I'm not in any trouble, sir. May I ask what this is about?"

"As you're well aware, Miss Black, there is a complaint box located outside. As per my status, I need to see after the students' best interest and if there's a problem, I'd like to focus on solving it."

He picked up the slip of paper. "''Narcissa Black needs to stop perving over a certain Professor. She's embarrassing herself!'"

He gave her a look that clearly indicated that she best not lie. "I do hope you take this matter seriously."
