Jason made his way from the hospital wing as quickly as he could. This was, he assumed, about Moody. It wasn't an interview he particularly wanted, but he supposed he had to get it over with. He just hoped he wouldn't have to talk to the Auror again. Ever.
Strange - he thought his adoptive mother would be present, and Madam Pomfrey, but he couldn't see them anywhere.
"Come in, Mr. Travers." He had thought the door had been left open. Ah well.
"Have a seat and don't worry. You're not in any trouble." He had thought carefully as to what he should say to the students when they came to his office and decided on something akin to neutrality.
"Silly boy - you're not supposed to knock on an open door!" Rachel hissed, but Jason silently shushed her. This whole situation was beginning to make him nervous. Where were Mum and Pomfrey?
"No thank you, sir," Jason said shyly. Rachel sniffed. "Lemon drops are yucky, anyway!" she whispered, but Jason tried his best to ignore her.
Some students were problem cases. Some students needed a little bit of a push in the right direction. Some students just confused the hell out of Dumbledore and he felt no shame in admitting that Mr. Travers was one of those latter cases.
Did the boy mutter something under his breath?
"As you're well aware, Mr. Travers, there is a complaint box out there and these issues must be addressed through the proper channels in order to make headway in relieving any issues before they got out of hand."
He'd be lying if he discounted Mr. Malfoy's suicide attempt in the whole complaint idea. They needed a way to communicate with students a bit better and to find problems before they could escalate.
"I'm afraid that there has been a complaint lodged against you. It states that you should be allowed to wear women's clothing. I do hope that you understand why you're not permitted to do such things."
